The Founder
Chilu Lemba is an award-winning voice actor, author, and creative visionary based in South Africa. A pioneering recording artist in Zambia, he played a key role in the Hip Hop movement of the early ’90s and became popularly known as The Sharp Shooter Bongo by the end of the decade. With a dynamic career spanning over three decades, Chilu founded the Sharpshooter Collective in 2023 as a platform to collaborate with artists and share innovative music.
You’ll also hear his distinctive voice on some of the tracks on Goma Lakes Volume 1, specifically Drunk on Your Love, Umani Panga, and Takoradi. Renowned for his Pan-African approach, he brings together talent from across the continent to create unique & culturally rich sounds that celebrate Africa’s diversity.

South African producer and DJ Offie Nxumalo, known as DJ Offie Cooper, is a revered sound designer and music visionary. For decades, he has been at the forefront of groundbreaking audio-visual projects, as well as events and music management. A key collaborator on Goma Lakes Volume 1, Offie’s artistry is evident in tracks like Fumani Fumani feat. Tribal Cousin, Kalubula feat. Mumba Yachi, and the dynamic Umani Panga – DJ Offie Cooper Remix. His contributions bring unique energy and depth to the album, solidifying his role as a pivotal force in the project.

Zambian producer TK has been a longtime collaborator with Sharpshooter Collective founder Chilu Lemba, working together for decades to create timeless music, including the 2012 hit Njota. Renowned for crafting iconic sounds in Afrobeats, House, and other genres, TK is a key production force behind Goma Lakes Volume 1. His dedication to innovation and quality shines through in tracks like Umani Panga (the original version), Drunk on Your Love, and Takoradi.
